Last minute Lederhosen and Dirndls before the Oktoberfest

Last minute Lederhosen and Dirndls before the Oktoberfest

The clock is ticking – and ticking faster than ever. There are only 10 days left until the Munich Oktoberfest starts, and if you’re going and still haven’t found the right lederhosen or dirndl, then you’d best get your skates on – especially if you don’t have the considerable pleasure of living in Bavaria – or elsewhere in Germany for that matter. After all, you don’t only have to find and buy your Bavarian outfit, but get it shipped to you outside of Germany.

So what should you do? Well, stop panicking and ask your friends at Oktoberfest-Dirndl-Blog, of course!

After all, the answer is pretty simple: find an Bavarian costume company with a good online shop that offers good deals, check their delivery times, and then order as fast as you can. There are, after all, several good providers who can even guarantee 48-hour shipping to other European countries – or 5 days to places as far as away as the USA and Australia! And they’re not even excessively expensive…

Too good to be true? Not at all!

If you’re looking for a concrete recommendation, then we nominate Oktoberfest-Dirndl-Shop, which sells Stockerpoint Bavarian fashion lederhosen and dirndls in the UK and worldwide. What’s great about them is that, although time is running out and they could be cranking up the prices, they’ve still got some beautiful stuff at completely fair rates. Their range is huge, too, from low-cut-short-skirt party dirndls through to really classy numbers, and their urgent express shipping service doesn’t even cost too much: 50 Euros will get your dirndl to you in the UK fresh from Germany within 48 hours for under £50!

Even if you’re a guy and you’re ordering lederhosen – or one of their excellent full sets with the breeches, shoes, shirt, and whole kit-and-caboodle – your (now relatively weighty) package won’t cost more £100 to wend its merry way to you. Even better, they still have all trouser and shoe sizes available (and not many do by this stage in the game).

So if you follow our recommendation, you can order through until Wednesday 17th September at 14:00 (sharp!) and still get your outfit by midday on Friday – in good time to head off and be in Munich for the first moments of the Oktoberfest on Saturday afternoon!

Either than, or you can fly out with nothing and place your faith in the cheap-o airport and station shops…
